Field trip to different places of worship (25/11/11)

Field trips expose the students to the outside world. They do provide a unique experience and learning to the students. We took our pre-primary students to different places of worship on 25/11/11. We visited a mosque and a church at BHEL and a temple at Chandanagar. This was to make the students aware of other places of worship. Such a trip is also necessary as it gives an opportunity to make individuals secular. It helps the students to respect other religions. Secularism is one of the modern mantras of globalized world. This develops fraternity and understanding among the students. This reflects unity in diversity of India.
