All colours’ day celebration

On Friday 12/7/13 Pre primary celebrated “All colours day”. The Children sang the Rainbow Song in the assembly with Rainbow headgears.  The activity room was decorated and all the children enjoyed the different coloured candies and goodies made for them.

Orange colour day celebration

Orange, a secondary colour, is used to symbolize Hinduism, Buddhism, energy, balance, heat, enthusiasm, playfulness, etc. Orchids Preprimary celebrated Orange colour day on 11/7/13. All the children came in Orange colour dresses. They enjoyed the tearing and pasting of Orange crepe paper on the Pumpkin picture.

Purple Colour Day Celebration

Purple is a secondary colour. It gives an impression of calm and creates a soothing impression. Purple is the colour of royalty, it connotes luxury, wealth and sophistication. Pre primary at Orchids celebrated Purple colour day on 10/07/13. The children enjoyed the purple colour activities and the purple candies given to them.

Blue Colour Day Celebration

Blue is another primary colour, considered the most popular as it is the colour of sky and water. Pre primary celebrated Blue colour day on 9/7/13. All the children came in blue colour dress. The class was decorated in Blue colour. 

Red colour day Celebration

Red is one of the primary colours and is considered a warm colour as it is the colour of fire. Pre primary classes celebrated Red Colour Day on Monday 8/7/13. All the children bought Red toys and different Red things to school. The class was decorated in Red and all the Red things were displayed.

Colouring Competition

We cannot think of our world without colours. Without colours there would be no blueskies, no more colourful birds or butterflies, no more colourful  flowers and so on………. We are very fortunate to have colours in our lives . We at Orchids have created  colourful surroundings  to help our children to learn about colours that surround them. We conducted a colouring competition for the preprimary classes on 05/07/13  to sharpen the artistic skills of the children.
