Nature walk (13/7/12)

It is our responsibility to teach the students that we don’t inhabit the planet Earth all alone, but share it with a variety of life. To demonstrate the same, we took our pre-primary students for a “Nature Walk” on 20.07.12. This activity involved the students to have a casual walk. The students while strolling along the way enjoyed the soft grass and a variety of plants and animals. This was to make the students realize that a beautiful world exists even outside the canopy of concrete jungle and gizmos.

RED DAY CELEBRATION (13/7/12)

Each colour has its significance. Life would be meaningless if everything was colourless. Red stands for love and friendship.  Red is an auspicious and confident colour.  Red day was celebrated in Orchids – The International School on 13/07/12. The students were adorned in red attire to celebrate red day. Its main aim was to make clear the concept of red colour to the students. The poems about things of red colour were recited by the teachers which were followed by the cheerful kids enthusiastically. On this day, the tiny tots were splendidly dressed up in nice gaudy red colour. Even the classrooms and the bulletin boards were decorated with red coloured things. The students enjoyed this moment and will cherish it for a long time.
